Senior Associate

John is a Senior Associate at JCM Power. John’s role with JCM spans to both the Infrastructure and Development groups and includes financial due diligence review on new business development opportunities, oversight on project triage and optimization of JCM’s internal model and selection of insurance products across all projects.

Prior to this, he was a Power, Infrastructure and Clean Tech Equity Analyst at Cantor Fitzgerald Canada Corporation, Research Division. Prior to this, John was a Research Analyst at M Partners Inc., Research Division. He was an Analyst at Fraser Mackenzie Limited, Research Division. John covered the diversified industries at the firm. He has over eight years of experience in the analysis of Canadian equities. John was an Equity Analyst at Stonecap Securities Inc., Research Division. Previously, he joined First Associates Investments’ capital markets group as a Vice President, Director, and Senior Analyst covering Canadian hardware technology equities specializing in the PC and wireless hardware subsectors. Following Rockwater Capital’s acquisition of First Associates, John began to pursue opportunities in the I-gaming industry and built a gaming futures exchange platform before joining Fraser Mackenzie Limited, Research Division to cover industrial and clean technology equities. He began his career in corporate finance with Moss Lawson/HSBC as a General Analyst for four years in the technology, pipelines and utilities, real estate, and oil and gas industries.

John holds a B.A. In Economics from the University of Windsor and is experienced and comfortable with having been regularly interviewed by both print and television in regards to different Canadian Equity.
