DEVELOPMENT | MOZAMBIQUE​

In 2026, JCM was awarded the 30MW Manje Solar PV Project following a competitive tender process under Mozambique's Programme for the Promotion of Renewable Energy Auctions (PROLER). Located in Tete Province, the project was awarded through Mozambique's first competitive solar PV tender programme, implemented with the support of the European Commission and the Agence Française de Développement (AFD).

Manje marks JCM Power's entry into Mozambique and an important expansion of its renewable energy platform in Southern Africa. The project will supply clean and competitively priced electricity to the national grid, supporting Mozambique's ambition to expand access to relieable and affordable power while increasing renewable energy generation. JCM will work closely with the Government of Mozambique, Electricidade de Moçambique (EDM), and local stakeholders to advance the project towards construction and operation.
